Located in nearby Brooksville, World Woods Golf Club is the best known course in the region. It boasts two world class, 18-hole courses, Pine Barrens and Rolling Oak, which were ranked #2 and #4 in Golf Week?s 2004 list of America?s Best Modern Courses. Hernando Oaks Golf Club
Also located in Brooksville, the Hernando Oaks Golf Club is a semi-private, 18-hole course with a par 72. Like World Woods, Hernando Oaks is situated among beautiful oaks, pines and hanging Spanish moss, making the course as relaxing and scenic as it is challenging. Motorized carts are available for rental and PGA professionals are on-hand for instruction. In 2007, the facility will add a fitness center, swimming pool and a full-service clubhouse.
